Food Vendors

The National Folk Festival features a variety of regional and ethnic foods as well as classic festival fare that will take diners on a culinary journey around North Carolina, America, and the world, with choices to please every palate. The diversity of selections include unique regional dishes such as North Carolina’s famous barbeque and delicious specialties from the cuisines of new immigrant communities who now make their home in the Piedmont Triad. There will also be plenty of traditional “festival fare!”

We are now accepting food vendor applications for the 2017 National Folk Festival
September 8, 9, & 10, 2017 – Downtown Greensboro, North Carolina

Application Deadline: Wednesday, March 1, 2017

Acceptance Notifications: Friday, March 24, 2017

Your application will be reviewed by a committee based on the following criteria:

  • product quality & uniqueness
  • previous experience serving festivals/large crowds
  • overall presentation
  • business location (local/regional vendor)
