Food Vendors

The National Folk Festival features a variety of regional and ethnic foods as well as classic festival fare that will take diners on a culinary journey around North Carolina, America, and the world, with choices to please every palate. The diversity of selections include unique regional dishes such as North Carolina’s famous barbeque and delicious specialties from the cuisines of new immigrant communities who now make their home in the Piedmont Triad. There will also be plenty of traditional “festival fare!”

Applications Now Closed

The deadline for submissions to be a food vendor at the 2017 National Folk Festival has passed and we are no longer accepting new applications.

Acceptance Notifications

Vendors who submitted applications will be notified by Friday, March 24, 2017 of their acceptance status for this year’s Festival (September 8, 9, & 10, 2017) in Greensboro .

Applications are currently being reviewed by a committee based on the following criteria:

  • product quality & uniqueness
  • previous experience serving festivals/large crowds
  • overall presentation
  • business location (local/regional vendor)
