2021 Food Vendor Applications Will Open in December 2020
The 80th National Folk Festival, in the heart of Downtown Salisbury, Maryland, are not currently accepting applications for the 2021 festival to be held on September 10-12, 2021. Applications may be submitted through the festival portal on SlideRoom (https://nationalfolkfestival.slideroom.com/)

The National Folk Festival seeks the top food and handcrafted beverage vendors in the region that can provide high quality, diverse, efficient, friendly service to thousands of festival-goers. The Festival will feature a variety of regional and ethnic foods, as well as classic festival fare that will take diners on a culinary journey around Maryland, the United States, and the world.
Food vendors will be chosen for the following food vendor categories*:
- Ethnic Foods
- "Fair" Foods
- Maryland / Delmarva Regional Foods
- Other Main Dishes
- Snacks / Desserts
- Specialty Beverages (non-alcoholic only)
*Note: All vendors will be given an opportunity to tell the committee about any specialty items on their menu. This is your opportunity to tell us what you do really well. This is especially important for vendors who have large menus that may cover multiple categories. We want to know what your specialty is!

Festival Food Courts
The National Folk Festival features a variety of regional and ethnic foods, as well as classic festival fare, that will take diners on a culinary journey around the Delmarva, America and the world, with choices to please every palate. The diversity of selections will include unique regional dishes such as the Chesapeake’s famed crabcake sandwich, and delicious specialties from the cuisines of new immigrant communities who now make their home on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

Throughout the Festival, you’ll find a variety of non-alcoholic refreshments – soft drinks, fruit drinks, smoothies and more – to choose from.
The National Folk Festival in Salisbury, Maryland will proudly feature local craft beer and wine, plus the internationally-renowned Guinness, which is now Maryland-brewed at the company’s new facility in Baltimore.
All food vendors interested in participating in the National Folk Festival will be selected through a juried application process.
